Nothing. Sparks does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We do not operate user accounts, analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
Each spark you capture is stored locally in the app's sandbox:
These files never leave your device. They are not backed up to our servers because we don't have any. iCloud Backup, if you have it enabled in your iPhone settings, will include them — that is between you and Apple.
Sparks records audio only while you are inside the recording screen. The microphone indicator on your iPhone is visible the whole time. Recording stops automatically after five seconds of silence, or when you tap to close.
Sparks uses Apple's on-device speech recognition whenever your device supports it — nothing is sent to a server. On older devices where on-device recognition is not available, Apple may process audio through its speech servers; in that case the audio is handled under Apple's own privacy policy and is not retained by us.
Tap the trash icon on any spark to delete it — the text and audio are removed immediately. To delete everything, uninstall the app; iOS will erase the entire sandbox.
Sparks is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.

If we ever change how Sparks handles your data — for example if a future feature genuinely needs a server — we will update this page, mark a new date above, and notify you the next time you open the app.
